I'm using LumiSoft email server with IMAP.
I configured the IMAP server with all default options
On the client side I configured the email client to save sent email in the Sent folder.

I'm challenging with a very strange problem: sometimes, I found in the Sent folder many duplicates of the same sent email. Sometimes I got about 1000 duplicates of the same sent email.
It happens very often when I use thunderbird on my PC and the Android email client on my smartphone and my tablet.
It never happens when I use roundcube webmail.

Can someone help me?

I found that this is a bug of the Android email app on several devices. See this for more details:

For me it happens on both Nexus S (Android 2.3.4) and Asus Slider (3.0.2).
I solved by using MailDroid instead of the standard email client.
