I have a feature request. In order to login to Yahoo IMAP accounts the following addition is needed. This modification was also used for the imapsync open source tool.

The modification requires that the following string be sent before the login attempt.

'ID ("guid" "1")'

without the beginning and ending single quotes. You can read about the trick here: http://groups.google.com...849e?lnk=raot&fwc=1

Hope this information is helpful. Also, I would be willing to test the modification for you when it is ready for testing.

Hi Ivx,

I have used imapsync on serveral IMAP servers and the Yahoo modification has not effected them. Non Yahoo servers just seem to ignore the additional information. Your tool is one of the few GUI tools and therefore I would like to give it a try in my scenario. I would offer to build it myself if the source code was supplied, however I am not sure which build tool you are using to compile the program. If it is Microsoft Studio, then I definitely do not own a copy.
