Instalation problem on 2008 production server

1. Thank you for creating this free email server.

I ran into small problem during installation of the mail server on my production server.

I use plain win 2008 box (standard) with mail server installed as a service. Firewall is switched off (just for testing this program).

Users and IP ranges are set. (by Mail Server Configuration.exe)

When I try to connect from a remote machine (Vista) I got the message:

"Error connecting to server: Connection host closed socket, read line terminated unexpectedly !"

I read around on the forum and manual, as well as on some MS sites/forums to figure this out, but I ended up nowhere.

Has anyone run into similar issue, maybe its something very simple that I just overlooked?

Hi,

To connect from remote machine, you should first allow remote access.
Run lsMailServerConfiguration.exe and allow remote computer IP ranges there, after it all starts working.
